an invitation to dream in color. breath in....exhale

I use recycled items for texture, things that I found, things I inherited, like my grandmother sewing  patterns interesting books, all the labels from all the medications that I take ,which are a lot, plastic that would never get recycled, labels off every jar, can, bottle that comes my way. Flyers falling off walls. The list is long making my paintings artifacts of wherever I am living. Most of this work was done here in Los Angeles.

I also experimented with layers and layers of watered-down paint to make the large paintings portable.

I want to thank Project Space Los Angeles for inviting me to show my work.
